The founding specialists and the majority of the multidisciplinary specialists practice independently, and many are based at the world-famous Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne.
Cancer Specialists provides collaborative, integrated, multidisciplinary independent specialists with expertise in the management of all common cancers.
Independent specialists include specialist surgeons, anaesthetic & pain specialists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, specialist nurses, psycho-oncologists and other allied health experts.
With the majority of our multi-disciplinary team based at Peter Mac and Royal Melbourne Hospital, our North Melbourne rooms have been set up to provide more consulting days to see our patients sooner and more conveniently.
The series provides easy-to-read information about specific types of cancer, treatments, and emotional and practical issues. It also includes audio-visual materials that can be downloaded or streamed online.
